Through the window of my eyes......
Times such as this is so interesting to me. Everything becomes clearer lookin in hindsight. The weather discribes my emotions, and this song sings my thoughts. The clouds, bright sunshine, powerful winds, blue sky, all displayed in one day. This one of my most favorite songs, one: for the melody and two: for the words. Here r some of the lines:
Like a memory it falls
Soft and warm contiuing
Tapping on my roof and wall
From the shelter of my mind
Through the window of my eyes
I gaze beyond the rain drenched streets
My mind's distracted and diffused
My thoughts are many miles away
And a song I was writing is left undone
I don't know why I spend my time
Writing songs I can't believe
With words that tear and strain to rhyme
And so you see I have come to doubt
All that I once held as true
I stand alone without beliefs

The only truth I know is you
And as I watch the drops of rain
Weave their weary paths and die
I know that I am like the rain
There but for the grace of you go I
Anyone know what song this is?

Hey bro sounds of silence, S&G
Sounds like a fun day! and what emotion is powerful winds?
ohhh u know.....
Is that the song? and i don't know.
Sigh
nope...thats not the song...but it is by S&G. I love the feelin of a strong wind and c what the force of the wind can do. It strong enough to strip trees of their leaves, break branches, and take out the power. Its a force to be reckoned with.
This song does draw out a 'sigh.'
The wind is comforting I think... it is a huge reminder that there are things out there that are so much stronger and more powerful than we are... I love feeling connected to God like that and to feel His embrace in the wind... like I know that He is so HUGE and POWERFUL and He is my kind and my friend. The feeling of wind on face (especially on a motorcycle) is so much of a rush and a release- even a gentle calming breeze.
Darn rights....motorcycle
